The essentials for your stay. Policies can vary by rate; your confirmation shows the terms for your booking. If anything is unclear, call us.
Book direct and save
Book on this website or by phone and save up to 10% off our regular rates. No registration or membership is needed. If you find a lower rate online for the same stay, call us and we will match it.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in is from 3:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. These times apply to all reservations and room types. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged with the front desk if you ask in advance, subject to availability.
Reservation guarantee and payment
A valid credit card is needed to guarantee your reservation when you book. Unless your rate is prepaid or your confirmation says otherwise, the card is authorized only within seven days of your arrival.
At check-in, please show a valid photo ID and a credit card. A refundable incidental deposit is also authorized on the card; the front desk will tell you the amount. We accept all major credit cards.
Cancellation
Standard reservations can be cancelled for a full refund until 3:00 PM, 72 hours before your arrival date, unless your confirmation says otherwise. Special rates and events can have different terms, shown when you book.
Early departure
Prepaid reservations are charged in full if you leave before the end of your stay.
Pets and service animals
Pets are not permitted. Service animals are always welcome, with no fee and no need to tell us in advance, although letting us know helps us prepare. Emotional support animals are not service animals under the law.
A minimum cleaning fee of $250.00 applies if an animal that is not a service animal stays in a room. Knowingly and fraudulently claiming that a dog is a service dog is a misdemeanor in California (Penal Code section 365.7), punishable by up to six months in county jail, a fine of up to $1,000, or both.
Smoking
Carmel Oaks Inn & Suites is a non-smoking property, in all rooms and indoor areas. Smoking is allowed only outdoors, at least 20 feet from the building.
Parking
Parking on site is free for guests. More about parking and arrival.
Wi-Fi and services
Wi-Fi is free throughout the inn. With advance notice, the front desk can arrange an in-room spa or massage treatment.
